As we continue, September is when the weather begins to change. For Sicklers, the changing weather is a critical time for us as the cold season really affects the illness of sickle cell anaemia. The joints and bones can be in severe pain, feel more dehydrated and dry, eyes tend to yellow more and/or burn too. Also feel a lack of energy and can also have a hard time falling asleep. These are some of the symptoms’ many experience during the change of season/weather.
