Ok! lets hop into the new colour today and that is YELLOW. Its a perfect day to break down this colour because its ‘beautiful’ out today 🙂 Yellow is one of those colours you long to see during the cold winter months. Its energy. Its warmth. Its comforting and soothing. It draws you out from the darkness and into the light. Its a smile on your face.
There are many shades of yellow which determines its meaning. Pure, bright and sunny yellow is the easiest colour to see. People who are blind to other colours can usually see yellow. Yellow is full of creative and intellectual energy. Always use yellow note pads.
Like the energy of a bright sunny day, yellow brings clarity and awareness. The shade of yellow determines its effect: Yellow-green can mean deceit, and creates a disoriented feeling. Orange-yellow imparts a sense of establishment. Clean light yellow clears the mind, making it active and alert.
Put some yellow in your life when you want:
- clarity for decision-making
- relief from ‘burnout’, panic, nervousness, exhaustion
- sharper memory and concentration skills
- protection from lethargy and depression during dull weather
Wear yellow to promote the ability to express yourself. It’s excellent for writers and public speakers to increase eloquence. The colour yellow stimulates movement and mental awareness. It’s great when used to enhance decision making skills.
