Ok… breath taking.
The Badgley Mischka show opened to an enchanted forest back drop, and I was soo pleased to see these beautiful, pretty pieces shimmer against it. Just beautiful. I liked the show.. truly enjoyed it. They presented many pieces of gowns that is rightly so for awards season. Shimmers of champagne, pinks, silver, golds cascade down the runway in sun dresses, shorts, skirts, and easy crop jackets. I really loved the empire dress in soft grey that was to me an inspiration from a Jane Austen story. The hair structure was a part with a fold over pinned with flowers, and lightly dropped in back. Enchanting and easy. Makeup is soft and delicate just like the delicate beading in each garment piece. Lovely.

Ok Vera here we go.
Vera Wang show opened with a art deco green, teal and grey back drop. Maybe expected too much, but this show did not deliver. OMG! I’m disappointed. I mean seriously the colour blends were not good. loads of mustards, mustard greens and vietnam dark greens.. I felt like i was going to be ambushed!the laces with the prints were too much and too heavily done, serious over kill on the lace. The biker style shorts gots to go >>> only i would say a couple pieces were ok and the shoes were nice. I hope she edits this and make it better. There were faces of disappointment in the audience.
