Rubin Museum was the fantastic location to showcase Josie Natori’s Fall-Winter 2012 collection. Doors opened at 2pm and I was greeted with a box of Godiva Chocolates. Glasses of wine were swirling about among the audience. I found a spot to sit– my legs needed a rest lol– and I had a wonderful chance to meet and chat with Midge, who use to be editor-in-chief- for Glamour magazine and Teen Magazine. She is such a fabulous and an amazing woman, and when the show began, we couldn’t help but look at each other in awe of the clothes cascading down the stair case.. Look at what I am talking about:
I loved the 40s inspired hairstyle of cascade curls tightlycoiled and pinned in place. Fur throws over glitter-sparkling gowns, like champagne. Cumber-bun waistlines around dresses, skirts and softly structured blouses, that graced the neckline beautifully.
Thanks to Fashionising.com for the splendid photos.
