Southwestern College Performing Arts Center

What was a vacant lot for over 50 years is today a beautiful, state-of-the-art performing arts center that benefits not only the students at Southwestern College, but the entire community of Chula Vista, CA. This $66 million facility features multiple theaters, including the main theater that seats 500. As evidence of how popular the theater programs are at Southwestern, all theater classes were at capacity at the complex's opening.

While the interior is highly functional but also beautiful, this same level of attention created a stunning exterior that that warmly invites students and the community inside. Glass and stucco combine to make a bold, yet complementary addition to the campus. Local contractor Raymond Group selected Â鶹´«Ã½AV's 80-pound bags of Scratch and Pump Grade Stucco not only for its quality, but its ease of application.

The skills of the men and women of Raymond Group and the quality stucco provided by Â鶹´«Ã½AV resulted in the project being a Walls and Ceilings Award winner the year it opened.
